Energy security means many things to many people, in developed countries such as the United Kingdom it can often be taken for granted, for example when driving on our roads, enjoying gatherings with families and friends, charging our phones or laptops. Or whilst using public services such as libraries, transport systems or when visiting the doctors. All these crucial services and many more supports our social stability and our economic securities even though individually we may not directly interact with them daily. It is true to say that electrical power underpins modern societies and creates environments for individuals and groups of people to flourish. This supports our company vision that puts “Your own power”

Unfortunately, this vision isn’t yet secured for many millions across the world and far to often the opposite can be observed in developing countries. In the absence of reliable and safe energy societies can find themselves at risk of increased crime, reduced political stability and poor socio-economic development. This is where we all have a part to play and more specifically you.

 

Schimper Energy, established in 2018 harbours a very basic idea that the past doesn’t dictate our future and that economic, social and innovative solutions to energy can help people across the world to live better, safer and richer lives.
